VisualRipple and Glow drifting near the lily-pad shallows. Dart skids to a stop in front of them.

RippleDart, slow down — what happened?

DartThere's a new patch of glowing coral. Past the deep rocks. I saw it. I saw it first!

Glow(eyes lighting up)Glowing coral? I want to paint it.

VisualThey glance toward the darker, shadowy part of the cove.

RippleWait... isn't that near Clawmont's rock?

VisualThey swim down toward a big mossy shape at the bottom — Clawmont, scowling, planted on his rock.

Clawmont(gruff)Nobody swims past my rock.

Dart(deflating mid-air, still puffed up)See? Told you he was grumpy.

RippleWe just want to see the new coral. We won't bother you.

ClawmontThis here cove is MINE. Now scoot.

VisualHe snaps his jaw shut — not actually near them, just for emphasis. Ripple and Glow back up a little, unsure.

VisualShelby drifts in, unbothered, settling onto a nearby stone.

Shelby(calm)You got time. The pond will wait.

GlowBut Shelby, he's so grumpy. Why won't he just let us look?

ShelbyMm. Ask yourself — why does a fella guard an empty rock so hard?

VisualRipple tilts his head, thinking. Looks back at Clawmont, who's alone, staring off at nothing.

Ripple(quietly)...Maybe it's not empty to him.

VisualRipple swims back toward Clawmont — slowly, no sudden moves.

RippleClawmont... do you get lonely down here?

VisualClawmont's scowl falters for just a second — a flicker of surprise.

Clawmont(gruffly, but softer)...Nobody visits the bottom of the cove. Too dark. Too deep. So I quit expecting anyone.

Glow(gently)We came all this way for glowing coral. But honestly? Meeting you is pretty glowy too.

VisualClawmont blinks, caught off guard. A small, reluctant almost-smile.

VisualClawmont shifts aside on his rock — just enough to let them pass.

Clawmont...Fine. But don't touch my rock.

Dart(zooming past, delighted)Wouldn't dream of it!

VisualThe crew swims together past the arch into a stretch of soft glowing coral — Glow gasping, immediately swirling around it. Clawmont watches from his rock, a little less alone, a little less scowly.
